What version of Minecraft does Instalobby support?

We support Minecraft Java Edition running on PaperMC, a high-performance Spigot fork. Paper provides better performance, bug fixes, and optimization compared to vanilla. You can select specific Minecraft versions when creating your server.

Can I install plugins on my Minecraft server?

Yes! Since we use PaperMC, you have full support for Spigot and Bukkit plugins. You can upload your own plugins to the plugins/ directory, and they will be loaded when you start your server.

How many players can join my Minecraft server?

The small VM comfortably supports 10-20 players for vanilla Minecraft. For larger groups or modded servers, consider our medium or large VM sizes. PaperMC's optimizations allow for more players compared to vanilla with the same resources.

What happens to my world when I stop the server?

All your world data, player data, server configurations, and plugins are automatically saved and persisted. When you start your server again, everything will be exactly as you left it.

Can I change the server properties after creation?

Currently, server settings cannot be updated through our interface. You can edit the server.properties file directly, but some changes may require a server restart. For major changes like the game version, you may need to recreate the server.

Is this for Minecraft Java or Bedrock?

We currently support Minecraft Java Edition with PaperMC. Bedrock Edition is not supported at this time.
